Nidera is actively engaged to make a positive difference in the communities where we work and live through its social responsibility program, “Values in the Community”. This program is focused on Education & Youth employability, while assisting in the sustainable development of the communities where we operate and supporting integral education focused on the long term without ignoring immediate needs.

In addition to the existing projects and following the objectives of this program, Nidera strengthened its engagement and participation in community projects. In the past weeks, we have formalized our cooperation with the Rotterdam Erasmus University (RSM International Charity Foundation) in supporting the Pathway India Foundation. Pathway India provides educational training services and rehabilitation for disabled and orphaned children and adults, to give them the tools to create a meaningful future for themselves. Another initiative that has recently materialized, is Nidera’s cooperation with the “Associação de Moradores do Núcleo Habitacional Joanes Leste (Lobato)”. The Association organizes free daycare for children (0-6 years old) generating opportunities for their parents in terms of education or employability. Hence concrete support for both parents and their children to create a meaningful future for themselves. The Association is located next to the premises of one of our operational facilities in Brazil.
